A Message from June Venters KC on International Women’s Day
As the founder and Managing Partner of Venters Solicitors, I am proud to lead a firm comprising dedicated professionals who demonstrate exceptional skill, integrity and commitment to their clients every day.
International Women’s Day offers an important moment to reflect on the progress made toward gender equality, as well as the work that continues across society and within the justice system.
Over the past century, family law has transformed. Rights that many once lacked—financial autonomy, property rights, legal protections within relationships, and meaningful participation in decisions affecting their families—are now firmly established. These advances were secured through the determination of those who advocated for fairness and equal treatment under the law.
Within our work, we see individuals and families facing some of the most difficult periods of their lives. Many—women and men alike—require support when navigating separation, resolving parenting disputes, or seeking protection from harmful or controlling behaviour. Their resilience and resolve continue to inspire us.
At Venters, access to justice is at the core of our practice. We believe every person, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves:

These principles guide the way we advise, advocate and support our clients.
