Venters Solicitors and June Venters KC are finalists at The Dynamic Awards 2023

Venters Solicitors are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories at the 2023 Dynamic Awards. The firm have been shortlisted in the category of ‘Company of the Year’ and June Venters KC as ‘Lawyer of the Year’.

The Dynamic Awards celebrate the achievements of businesswomen across a wide range of industries in Sussex and Surrey. June Venters KC launched the firm in 1991 and Venters Solicitors is the only law firm in the UK that is owned and managed by a practicing Silk.

Since inception, Venters Solicitors has always specialised exclusively in Family Law and Criminal Law cases that have family, spousal or children matters at the heart of them. Since 2007 the firm has also provided Family Meditation Service.

June is from a working-class background who, since the early days of her career, cites the support and inspiration of others to get to where she is today. This ethos and approach dominate the culture at Venters Solicitors, and we are proud of our diverse and female-centric work force.
Despite undertaking some of the most emotionally charged cases, the lawyers at Venters Solicitors do so with professionalism and dedication, which attracts positive feedback, not only from clients, but from the judiciary and legal peers.

The firm provide several pro bono clinics to the local community. Since 2012 Venters Solicitors have hosted a drop-in clinic at the Elizabeth House Surgery every Monday, an initiative that received a government commendation and recognition for the important role it plays in supporting the community. The firm also provide monthly assistance to Your Sanctuary, CAB, and the Royal Courts of Justice.

Venters Solicitors are accredited to accept cases from the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit and therefore assist in applications for Child Abduction cases both inside and outside of the Hague Convention. The team also receive cases from the Official Solicitors in respect of those clients who lack capacity. The firm has a Legal Aid Contract and often receive referrals from Refuges to assist those who have been subject to Domestic Abuse. Venters Staff are caring and companionate and "put their all" into every case.
