Venters Solicitors are delighted to have been shortlisted for two prestigious awards

Venters Solicitors are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious Lexis Nexus Family Law Awards 2024.

The team has been shortlisted in the Family law Children’s Law Team of the Year category and Managing Partner, June Venters KC has been shortlisted for Family Law KC of the Year.  

Children Law Team of the Year

The children law award recognises a team which can demonstrate excellence in the field of children law and given the team’s specialism in this area they are without doubt worthy winners in this category.

Venters Solicitors are accredited to accept cases from the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit and therefore assist in applications for Child Abduction cases both inside and outside of the Hague Convention.  The team also receive cases from the Official Solicitors in respect of those clients who lack capacity.

Despite undertaking some of the most emotionally charged cases, the lawyers at Venters Solicitors do so with professionalism and dedication, which attracts positive feedback, not only from clients, but from the judiciary and legal peers.

Family Law KC of the Year

The award recognises a KC who has made a major contribution to the field of family law through their advice and high-level advocacy and this shortlisting is testimony to June’s extraordinary blend of professional qualifications, expertise, and experience.

June Venters KC specialises in family and children law and routinely appears in high profile cases in the Family Court, High Court and Appeal Courts nationwide.  As the first woman Solicitor appointed to Queens Counsel in 2006, June holds a unique place in UK legal history and is a trailblazer and leader in her field who is fearless in her pursuit for justice and fair representation, and most certainly a lawyer worthy of recognition.

The team are delighted to have been shortlisted against some of the best firms in the country and the winners will be announced at a special event being held on 20th November at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
