Christine qualified in 1995 and has worked in family law ever since.
Initially Christine worked in Conveyancing, Family Law, Domestic Abuse and Probate and practiced mostly in the area of family law. The senior partner left the practice to become a District Judge and she then ran the practice as a sole practitioner for about four years before closing this due to family commitments.
Christine then worked for Grants Solicitors as joint head of the family department until it closed at the end of 2013, following Helen Grant becoming an MP. She started work at Venters at the beginning of 2014.
Client base: Recommendations from previous clients, returning clients, new matter enquiries. She also undertakes a monthly pro-bono clinic for a domestic abuse organisation and receives referrals from this organisation.
Christine receives referrals from the Official Solicitor who acts as Litigation Friend for clients lacking in litigation capacity. She represents the Official Solicitor and has done so in divorce, private law children cases and financial remedy cases.
