Elsbeth Wells

Elsbeth heads up the department of Family Mediators. She is fully recognised by the Legal Aid Agency and Family Mediation Council to carry out all mediation issues relating to Finance, Property and Children, both with privately paying clients and those eligible for 'Legal Aid'.

She is a qualified Professional Practice Consultant and is able to supervise both Legal Aid and Private Mediators. She now focuses the majority of her practice on Financial Settlement, although she still regularly mediates Child Arrangements and is fully qualified to consult directly with children in the mediation process and is able to carry out all mediation issues.

Elsbeth has enhanced CRB clearance.

Elsbeth was drawn to use her expertise within the field of mediating in family breakdown due to her passion for facilitating a client centred approach to resolving conflict. She is committed to working with clients to try to keep their disputes out of court and to seeing issues brought to closure in a fair and amicable manner. She has a great deal of insight into the psychological effects of trauma and this, balanced with her ability to manage complex finance and having a clear understanding of the Court's approach to settlement makes her qualified to mediate in all aspects of family conflict.
