Jacob Chacko

Jacob is Head of the Accounts department at Venter Solicitors and has been a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Accounts Managers since 1990. He joined the firm in 2004 and was instrumental in restructuring the firms’ Accounts Department to streamline activity and improve efficiencies.

His role involves reporting directly to the Practice Manager and the Managing Partner on all financial aspects of the business to assist with the running of the firm. He is also responsible for maintaining good relationships with outside agents including Bankers and Accountants to ensure a steady flow of information.

Jacob has over 30 years’ experience in the field of Legal Accounting. Prior to joining Venters Solicitors, his employment included 19 years’ service with Goldmann & Co Solicitors, a high-profile commercial law firm based in Fleet Street. During his career he has undertaken a wide variety of roles ranging from Legal Cashier to Financial Controller giving him an in depth understanding and experience.
